Italy Travel: Day 1 - Arrived in Rome
Italy Travel: Days 2 and 3 - Hop-On Hop-off Tour Bus
Over the next two days, you’ll be exploring Rome on a hop-on hop-off tour bus. Fun indeed!
Places I Visited: The Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Saint Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Piazza Navona, Vatican
Italy Travel: Day 4 - Pompei
Today, you’ll be taking a guided group tour to Pompeii. It’s about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Rome.
Note: I enjoyed my trip to Pompeii. It was amazing! The tour guide I went with also offered dinner. I think I ate around 11:30 p.m. Pretty late! I got back to the hotel around 1:00 a.m. It was a long day trip, but nevertheless, it was fun!
Italy Travel: Days 5 to 7 - Explore Rome
Over the next three days, you’ll be exploring Rome and visiting whatever places interest you.
Final thought
I visited Italy back in 2009, so it was a long time ago! I remember having a great time there.
