Today, you’ll be taking a private tour to San Basilio de Palenque. It’s best to visit with a guide. The drive takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Note: I thought the tour guide was very knowledgeable. He mentioned that he teaches English in the area and is also a college student. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my trip to San Basilio de Palenque.

I enjoyed my time visiting Cartagena, Colombia. I understand there are some concerns about visiting, but if you stay in the Old Town and Getsemaní areas, you’ll likely feel safe. I felt pretty safe here! As long as you’re aware of your surroundings, you’ll have a great time!
