Oregon Travel: Day 1 - Arrived to Portland

Note: This is my first time visiting Oregon. I arrived at my hotel around 1:00 a.m. and was very tired!
Oregon Travel: Day 2 - Hop-On Hop-off Tour Bus
Today you will be taking an hop on hop off tour bus around the city. Fun indeed.

Oregon Travel: Day 3 - Astoria
Today, you’ll be starting your driving tour across Oregon. The first stop will be Astoria, which is a little over a 3-hour drive from Portland. You’ll spend one night here—fun indeed!

Places I visited: Lewis and Clark National Park, Explore Astoria
Oregon Travel: Day 4 - Railroad Train Tour
Today, you’ll be taking an Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad tour in Rockaway Beach. Before your tour, you might stop somewhere along the way, such as Ecola State Park. The tour takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Afterward, you might consider visiting the Octopus Tree and Cape Meares before arriving in Lincoln City, where you’ll be spending the night.”

Oregon Travel: Day 5 - Whale Watching Tour
Today, you’ll be taking a whale-watching tour. The tour is about 2 hours long. Afterward, you’ll drive over to Depoe Bay, where you’ll spend one night only.

Oregon Travel: Day 6 - Florence, Oregon
Today, you’ll be driving to Florence, but first you’ll be making a few stops, such as Little Creek Cave, the Cape Perpetua Center, and the Sea Lion Caves. You’ll be spending 2 nights in Florence.
Oregon Travel: Day 7 - Florence
Today, you’ll be taking a dune ride tour around the Oregon Dunes. Fun indeed!
Oregon Travel: Day 8 - Crescent City, CA
Today, you’ll be driving to Crescent City, but first you’ll make stops at Umpqua Lighthouse, Port Orford Overlook, Prehistoric Gardens, Kissing Rock, Myers Creek Beach, and Natural Bridges in Brookings. You’ll be spending 3 nights in Crescent City.

Oregon Travel: Day 9 and 10 - Redwood National State Park
Oregon Travel: Day 11 - Klamath Falls
Today, you’ll be driving to Klamath Falls. Will be spending two nights there.
Where I stayed: Holiday Inn Express Klamath Falls
Oregon Travel: Day 12 - Crater Lake National Park
Today, you’ll be driving to Crater Lake National Park. It’s a little over an hour from Klamath Falls. Fun indeed!
Note: I was there for about 2 hours. I had a great time visiting. The water was so blue!
Oregon Travel: Day 13 - John Day, Oregon
Today, you’ll be driving to Lava Lands. It costs $5 to take the bus to see Lava Butte. After that, you might stop by Ochoco Viewpoint. Then you’ll drive to the Painted Hills. I didn’t do much hiking because it was over 100 degrees! Finally, you’ll end up in John Day City, where you’ll spend one night.

Idaho Travel: Day 14 - Mountain Home, ID
Today, you’ll enter Idaho—fun indeed! You’ll stop by Rock Map, though I wasn’t too impressed by it. Then, you’ll make a stop at Celebration Park. I didn’t do much walking because of the hot weather. You’ll be staying in Mountain View for one night.

Idaho Travel: Day 15 - Hagerman
Today, you’ll be driving to Silver City which is a ghost city. After that, drive to to Thousand Spring Visiting Center and Hagerman Fossil Bed National Monument. Then take a trips to Snake River Overlook, Oregon Trail Overlook, and Balanced Rock for quick pictures. Will spend one night in Hagerman.

Idaho Travel: Day 16 - Stanley, Idaho
Today you’ll be driving over to Stanley, Idaho, but first you’ll make stops at Minidoka National Historic Site, Craters of the Moon National Monument, and Billy’s Bridge. You’ll only be spending one night here.

Oregon Travel: Day 17 - Moscow, Idaho
Today you’ll be driving to Moscow, Idaho, but first you’ll make a stop at Nez Perce National Historical Park. Only spending an night in Moscow, Idaho. Fun indeed.

WA Travel: Day 18 - Colville, WA
Today, you’ll be crossing over to Washington State. You’ll stop by Roosevelt Grove of Ancient Cedars for a lone hike! You’ll only be spending one night in Colville, WA.

WA Travel: Day 19 - Packwood, WA
Today, you’ll be driving to Packwood, WA, but first you’ll stop by White Mountain Fire Overlook, Grand Coulee Dam Visitor Center, Dry Falls Vista House, and Clear Creek Falls Overlook before finally arriving in Packwood. You’ll be spending two nights here.

WA Travel: Day 20 - Mount Rainier, WA
Today, you’ll be spending the whole day at Mount Rainier. One of the entrances is called ‘Sunrise,’ and you’ll need a ticket to get in. Another entrance is called ‘Paradise,’ and no ticket is required there. Fun indeed!

Oregon Travel: Day 21 - Hood River, Oregon
Today you’ll be driving to Hood River, Oregon. You’ll make several stops along the way: Riffe Lake Viewpoint, Mount St. Helens Interpretive Center, the bridge near Mount St. Helens Viewpoint, Elk Rock Viewpoint, Castle Lake Viewpoint, the Science and Learning Center at Coldwater, and Cape Horn Lookout. Whew, a lot of stops! Your final stop will be Hood River, where you’ll stay for two nights before returning to Portland.

Oregon Travel: Day 22 - Hood River, Oregon
Today you’ll be taking a Mount Hood Railroad tour. Fun indeed!
